There are a number of ways to contribute to deployed soldiers and their families over the holiday season.
Students from Baldwyn and Jumpertown elementary schools drew pictures and wrote Christmas messages to our troops serving overseas.
The notes and drawings will be included in care packages dubbed "Civilian Rations," or "C-Rats," which are delivered to the troops monthly by Operation Interdependence without negatively affecting the military delivery system.
Farmers & Merchants Bank participates in O.I.'s efforts, taking donations to the warehouse in Tupelo.
Letters of encouragement, as well as donations of money and supplies, are always welcome at O.I.
