The Winchester Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office is currently collecting much needed items to ship to a United States Army platoon stationed in Iraq.
The office is collecting the items as part of a Platoon adoption program managed by Operation Interdependence™, a civilian-to-military delivery program that serves as a conduit for Americans to demonstrate their support for U.S. deployed military through the delivery of care packages.
The Winchester Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates and employees are collecting and assembling the necessities. They will box 50 individual packages, each containing a personal message, and then send them to Operation Interdependence™ who will ship them to Iraq.
Suggested items include books, disposable cameras, camper style foods, cards, Chapstick, dental floss, facial tissue, flashlights, gum, magazines, moist wipes, music CDs, Nerf toys (small footballs, etc.), odor eaters for boots, pencils, pens, phone cards, playing cards, postage, razors, sheets of stationery, travel size toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel games, and travel mugs.
Anyone willing to help can drop off donations at the Winchester Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office located at 3 Church St. in Winchester. The sales associates can also pick-up your donations by calling the office at 781-729-7290.
